The Challenge

Repaint the full exterior facade of an active multi-story parking garage serving one of downtown Dallas's most iconic landmarks — the historic Adolphus Hotel block — covering large stucco surfaces, structural columns, and multiple metal elements, while maintaining safe and organized access throughout the project.

The Solution

Full surface preparation including drone power washing, crack repair, mechanical scraping, caulking, and spot priming, followed by a two-coat Sherwin-Williams system: SuperPaint Exterior for 14,350 sq ft of stucco walls and columns, and Pro Industrial DTM Acrylic for all metal surfaces — gates, railings, bollards, hollow metal doors, and door frames.

Access & Safety: Organized crew staging with daily clean-up and secured equipment at the end of each workday. Street closure and site access coordinated with the customer.

Surface Preparation: Power washing, mechanical scraping to remove loose and peeling paint, crack and void repair with caulking throughout stucco surfaces, and spot priming on all bare or exposed substrates.

• SW SuperPaint Exterior —weather-resistant finish for stucco walls and columns (2 coats, 103 gal)
• SW Pro Industrial DTM Acrylic — direct-to-metal corrosion barrierfor gates, railings, bollards, doors, and frames (2 coats, 8 gal).
